St Dominic’s Community Response Project is currently fully operational and adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols recommended by the HSE in relation to Covid 19.
There are some changes. Anyone attending the service will be required to wear a face mask for the duration of their time in the service. We would also ask all those attending the service to use the hand sanitiser provided before entering the service and throughout the building.
CA are now holding their meetings onsite in St Dominic’s Communty Response Project. Meeting times: 8 – 9pm Wednesday Evenings.
Covid Guidelines in place and attendees are required to wear a face mask at all times in the building and throughout the meeting. Meetings are limited to 15 people.
500k in MAY Fundraising Cycle
Two of our staff in St Dominic’s CRP are “each” cycling 500 kilometres in the month of May to raise funds to develop a Dual Diagnosis workshop. Through incoming referrals and carrying out assessments we have identified there has been an increase in service users with both Mental Health and Problematic Substance use issues.
We hope to raise enough money to develop a 8 – 12 week programme focused on learning Dual Diagnosis participants the skills and tools to manage their Mental Health, while supporting them to reduce their substance use.
Monies raised will be used to bring in outside facilitators with expertise in Mental Health to compliment the work of our drugs workers. We will also use the funds to pay for provisions and materials to roll out this programme.
