Cocaine Specific Programme

Group Therapy

St. Dominic’s Community Response Project (CRP) and Tallaght Rehabilitation Project (TRP) have collaborated their expertise to run an out of hours cocaine specific group for adults whose main problem drug is cocaine. The programme is a rolling group of 12 weeks per term and each group will consist of 12 members, male and female aged 18 years and over.

Our aim is to engage to this group those who are still active in their problematic cocaine use, and support them from substance use in St. Dominic’s CRP for 6 weeks (Phase 1) and then to further treatment and rehabilitation support with TRP for a further 6 weeks. (Phase 2)

People will not progress from Phase 1 to Phase 2 of the programme unless they have achieved a substance free status. For those who successfully progress to Phase 2 there is an overall attendance of 80% required to graduate from the programme and receive a certificate of attendance.
