Recovery Awareness Support Group
St Dominic’s Community Response Project’s groups are developed on an evaluation of the needs and the substance use trends within our current service users.
All our groups are designed to increase awareness and promote skills and tools to manage change, whilst encouraging peer support.
Our group facilitators deliver therapeutic/educational groups in a creative way and all have individual styles which will meet the carried needs of the group members.
Our approach to treating problematic substance use is at the core of all our recovery awareness groups.
The group is presented on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 12pm and some examples of the content are:
• Relapse Prevention
• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (C.B.T.)
• The Resonance Factor
• Choice Theory
• Treatment plan
